Through a successful public tender to Lakatamia Municipality, S. Houtris install the first OmniTRADE bin lifter on rear collection vehicle. All staff expresses their impression and enthusiasm from the very first presentation and usage.
Following operators feedback ‘’The waste collection efficiency increases and put the collection procedure on higher level’’.
This bin lifter was designed and manufactured by Terberg and installed by Spyros Houtris & Sons Ltd. The aim of this design was to give the ability for one Collector vehicle to effectively load a wide range of wheelie bin sizes. Wheelie bins between 120-360 liters are loaded securely via the system comb while wheelie bins of capacity 1100 liters are loaded securely via a combination of a comb and arms.
Furthermore this vehicle has been designed and built in such a way as to give to the owner the flexibility for future improvements and additional equipment to be made and installed in a cost effective and quick way. More specific, the vehicle can be accommodated with the following:
a. Real time weighing systems. These are systems which continuously monitor and give readings for the present weight of the loaded garbage and also for the weight of each individual wheelie bin loaded.
b. GPS and Data Transfer Systems. This system gives the opportunity to effectively monitor and manage your fleet while in operation and send and receive information both-way instantly.
c. RFID Container Tag Reading System
Moreover a new high capacity, stainless-steel, pressurized vessel with suitable extending gun was introduced to the “Tiger” to accommodate sanitize solutions efficiently. Once again manufactured to comply with EU Standards, “Tiger” fulfilled all the requirements and needs in the Waste Management field.
